Your data stays on your device
This build of AfroProof keeps your account on this device only. No account is created on any server here, and nothing you enter is sent anywhere. Your records live in your browser on this device only.
What is stored on your device
Your name, country, and language; your record books with sales, expenses, and debts owed to you; your testimonial drafts; and your experience entries, including the consent dates you record. All of it stays on this device unless you choose to share a single item as described below.
No third parties
There are no third parties in this build: no external scripts, no analytics, no sign-in provider, and no email. The links to KopaBook, FixPro Hub, and FVA Connect open those products only. No AfroProof record is sent to them, and no record is pulled from them.
What is shared, and the honest limit
Nothing is shared by itself. A testimonial is shared only after you record the giver's consent for that exact sale or job, and it is shown only for that sale or job. An experience entry is shared only after you confirm it. Your totals stay private unless you turn on "Show totals in proof view" for that record book.
Read this part carefully: testimonials are typed by you, from what the customer said, and the consent date is recorded by you. AfroProof does not check with the customer, and it does not independently verify that the customer said it. A shared testimonial is a record you made, not proof checked by AfroProof. No job is promised and no certificate is claimed by any entry here.
Removing your data
Signing out clears the account name from this device. Your record books stay saved on this device until you clear this site's data in your browser, which removes everything.
Children
AfroProof is for people aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, do not create an account.
Your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. We hold no copy of your data on any server, so there is nothing for us to hand over or delete. Everything is on your device, under your control, and you can remove it as described above.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new last updated date.
